OUR OLIVES:
All the olives used to produce MONTEDORO oils come from olive trees groves owned by the partners. All groves are within a maximum range of 15 kms from the mill, and they all grow Cultivars typical of our geographical area. Members/producers share a deep passion for good produce and abide by strict producing standards, which regulate olive trees groves and olives harvesting care. The last is carried out with a semiauthomatic procedure to shorten the times between harvesting and pressing as much as possible . This certifies the uniqueness and the quality of the product, but above all the freshness of the same, because it only takes maximum 12 hours to go from the harvesting to the pressing and the oil. All the process is carried out under the ISO 22005 certification which guarantees the traceability of the product.
